Geotechnical investigation for widening of 25km of the N3 from Paradise Valley to Key Ridge. Including detailed geotechnical design for 10km of widening at Mariannhill Valley (from 3 lanes to 5 lanes each direction).

Project Results
The ongoing project has involved multiple iterations of geotechnical and slope verifications at various locations along the route, as new information has become available. The pre-tender evaluation was originally based on geotechnical investigations carried out in the 1970s, but certain parts of the landscape have undergone changes over time. Therefore, in light of the project’s current progress, updated analysis and designs have been required to ensure accuracy and effectiveness.
